Additional Notes from Deped’s Ms Angel Jabines (by
Donna Pangilinan-Simpao of Homeschoolers of the Philippines):

  1. All Deped accredited schools need to apply for permits to offer homeschool program if they will offer homeschol programs to learners. Deped Order 007 May 11, 2020 and Deped Order 021 Sept 2019
  2. Re: Homeschool providers that are partnered with Deped accredited schools
  • The Deped accredited “parent” school must have permit to offer homeschool program, apart their permit to operate from the Deped.
  • There must be a MOA between parent school and partner homeschool provider re their agreed arrangement.
  1. Direct all inquiries with your regional deped office ( we are trying to ask for contact details for general homeschool concerns)
  2. To all stand alone homeschool
providers asking for the process and requirement for application for permit to offer programs-pls wait for memorandum and guidelines from the Deped.
