Weekly 1-2-3 No.1 Vol.1

I am starting this weekly wrap up as a breather. Like a pause after an exhausting week. Something for me to just write whatever I like.

I am not sure if I can keep this up. Friday evenings has been a cool down routine for me. Before the pandemic, I would take long walks at night around the block. I like my long walks as I talk to myself or sometimes as a cheat day where I look for something to eat. But it will take a while before I get back to that routine

So I am resorting to writing as a cool down. I can dump my thoughts on what happened through the week.

1. We love Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. It’s a card game and it is hilarious. It is a hand slapping game. I need to be careful not to slap strong on the card deck or I might smash Gab’s hand instead. It is confusing so it teaches us to concentrate and focus to win the game.

2. Is that you Sheldon Cooper? I bought a new shower curtain last month. It has the Periodic Table of Elements printed on it. I bought it to encourage Gab to start learning the elements. And it is working out the way I intended it to be. He is having fun spelling our names and words using the different chemical symbols. He calls himself Gallium Boron or the symbols (Ga)(B). Clever.

3. Slowing down is OK. We have been busy with our projects for two weeks already. Thus, our homeschool load for Gab took a back seat. Gab got to work on just few subjects. Mostly Math. That’s what I like about homeschooling though. We get to be flexible. We don’t really think we are getting behind. We know we can easily catch up on what we have missed. Looking forward to a more productive week next week then.

Happy weekend everyone.
