Spending the day at Sta Elena Fun Farm

It was already the start of the rainy season but I’m glad, we decided to push through with the day trip to Sta Elena Fun Farm.

Gab experienced life at the farm whenever we go home to the province for the holidays but it will be fun to explore this place, away from the city, with friends, even just for a day.

Things to do in Sta Elena Fun Farm

There a lot of things that can keep the kids and kids at heart busy for the whole day.

– run freely in pockets of natural playgrounds and open spaces
– go through the rope and obstacle courses
– climb and play at the wooden Teepee huts
– try a zip line
– make sand castles in a gigantic sand box
– feed animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and sheep
– fish in a lagoon or get on a row boat
– ride a horse or a cart pulled by a carabao

The activities in near to each other so the kids can go from pony riding to playing on the sand box easily. There are no limits on how many times you can do these activities! The kids love the endless supply of chopped carrots available to feed the bunnies and guinea pigs.

How to Get to Sta Elena Fun Farm

The place is located in Sta Elena Golf & Country Estate in Laguna. It’s a few hours drive from Manila. We used waze to help us get to the venue.

From SLEX, going southbound, take the Cabuyao Exit. Turn right after the toll gate and continue driving until you reach the Sta Elena property gate. From there there’s a sign that will lead you to the Fun Farm.

Commuting is not recommended as there are no public transport that goes into the place.

Travel Tips when Visiting Sta Elena Fun Farm

1. Call or email (funfarm@staelena.com) to make reservations. Let them know what day and time you will be visiting. They only allow a limited number of visitors at a given schedule so make sure to come on time. Entrance fee is for four (4) hours use of the venue.

2. Bring your own food (snacks/lunch), water or drinks for picnic. There’s nowhere inside the farm you can buy food except for drinks from a vendo machine and some ice popsicles. Nearest food outlet is outside the Sta Elena property which is a few minutes by car.

This is definitely one of best day trip venue near Manila – to unwind and connecting with family and friends within a nature sanctuary.
