We were so happy to see The Little Free Library in Makati. Now, we are more excited to come and visit The Book Stop Project in one of our favorite parks!
The Book Stop is a pop-up library, where people can borrow books or exchange your books for new ones. It encourages reading, love of books and promotes the sharing of ideas through the redistribution of books.
The structure and the concept behind The Book Stop was conceived by WTA Architecture + Design Studio. Aside from the shelves filled with books, the pop-up library has seats for the readers.
It was officially launched at the Ayala Triangle Gardens last April 23 and will be open until May 7. The next stop is in Intramuros, from May 14 to July 9.
The Book Stop works the same way as the Little Free Library across the globe which was started in 2009.
