Ang pandiwa ay salitang nagsasaad ng kiloso galaw, proseso o pangyayari, karanasan o damdamin. Ito ay binubuo ng salitang ugat at panlapi.

Ang pandiwa ay may tatlong aspekto:

1. Naganap na ang kilos (past tense): nagpapakitang tapos na ang kilos, ginagamitan ng panlaping um, na, nag, nang

Halimbawa: umalis, naglaro

2. Nagaganap ang kilos (present tense): nagsasabi o nagpapakita ng kilos na ginagawa pa, ginagamitan ng panlaping um, na, nag, nang at inuulit ang unang pantig ng salitang ugat

Halimbawa: umiinom, naliligo

3. Magaganap ang kilos (future tense): ang kilos ay gagawin pa lamang, ginagamitan ng panlaping ma, mag, mang at inuulit ang unang pantig ng salitang ugat

Halimbawa: mag-aaral, uupo
