Logitech K480 Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard Review

The Logitech K480 Bluetooth Keyboard is lightweight, portable and supports up to 3 devices. It works for both Android and iOS devices. The size is small enough and it’s key are soft to touch or press. It is perfect for Gab who is learning to type.

I bought the Logitech K480 Bluetooh Wireless Keyboard as an option to bring a tablet instead of a laptop during meetings. It is small and lightweight which allows me to bring a small bag. Unknowingly, it became the perfect keyboard for our homeschool typing lessons.

Here’s a review of the Logitech K480 Bluetooh Wireless Keyboard.

1. Supports multi-device and platform. It can be used by 3 devices. You just need to turn the knob to select which device it will connect to. It can be used by both Android and iOS devices. It can be used as a keyboard for a phone or tablet. Connecting a new device is easy and fast.

The built-in stand is OK, but it covers some parts of the screen for some devices.

2. Small size and lightweight. Gab’s fingers fit just right on the home keys. His fingers are not too far apart compared to a 15-inch laptop keyboard. It is easy and safe to carry around.

3. Soft touch keys. The keys are easy to press. The keys are taller with the Logitech K480 Keyboard. Thus, it needs a little more effort compared to a laptop keyboard. But I find it a good way to practice his fingers for typing.

4. Good battery life. It uses 2 AAA batteries and comes with a manual on/off button. I don’t use it as much and the battery lasts more than 8 months before replacing. The on/off button helps extend the battery life.

5. A bit lagging. The only drawback is the slight lag in the typing and the screen display. Sometimes, you may have completed typing 4 words but the screen only shows 3 words so far. But since speed is not the focus yet, the lag is forgivable.

6. Durable. I bought the Logitech K480 Bluetooh Wireless Keyboard at a local computer store in 2016. I can’t remember the price then but it’s been four years and it still works fine.

Overall, the Logitech K480 Bluetooh Wireless Keyboard is perfect for our homeschool typing lessons. It has the feel of a real keyboard and the size fit Gab’s small hands. He is not yet ready for a full sized keyboard. But the using the Logitech K480 Bluetooh Wireless Keyboard will make it easy for him to transition from using a tablet to using a laptop.

  1. Naku! Kami naman we use the K380 na pink. Yah know! Aesthetics! hahahahaha! Agree na perfec sya for our kids kasi syempre typing is also a skill na need i-practice. Eh di pwede mag practice sa laptop na share sila ni Tatay dahil baka kung ano ang mabura. Eh eto we connect to her Tab tapos type away na sya. Bahala na sya dyan. Thank you din sa typing lessons na blog! We will use it. 🙂

    1. Hi Reigne. I got the K480 for the built-in stand pero there are good covers/casings that works as a stand na rin. I think the K380 would be a better option now. 😀
And ayaw lang talaga naming mga Tatay na may ka-share sa laptop. 😛
