Sinta Book Review

Sinta is a book featuring the story of a girl faced with many fears. The book is written by Ana Digi and illustrated by Biboy Royong.

Sinta, like everyone of us, has her fears. The story tells us that we can overcome such fears, with our friends and family supporting us.

We also learned about different flowers like the gumamela, sampaguita, and even the makahiya plant.

Gab remembered days in Bacolod when we would pick different flowers from Nanay’s garden and play with them. We are looking forward to vacation days in the province so we can make bubbles using gumamela, just like Sinta and her friends.

The book also mentions the Philippine mythological creatures like the aswang, kapre, manananggal and many others.

It would be great if the book comes in full color so we can see the beautiful flowers!

Thanks Ana Digi for sending a signed copy of the book for our little reader. We finished (reading-aloud the) book in 2 days!

You can get your on copy of Sinta by sending them a message at the official facebook page: Sinta Book.
