The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers Book Review

Reading is part of Gab’s bedtime routine. We would read aloud together every night and we’re happy to find a book that we can read with him everyday.

Last year we finished the The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers 2 and this year we finally got the first book.

The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers Books

The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers contains easy to understand readings for each day of the year. The daily devotions are just the right length for little kids. It includes a short Bible verse and a fun, rhyming prayer at the end of each devotional.

The second book is a walk through the bible, from Genesis to Revelation, that teaches kids who God is and his promises in age-appropriate theme each day.

We love the colorful and charming character illustrations in every page by Elena Kucharik, the well-known lead artist for Care Bears. The Little Blessings collection features four children, Kaitlyn, Zoe, Parker and Jack. Gab likes to call them by the names of his friends.

Jack (as Gab), Zoe (as Shayne), Kaitlyn (as Ashlyn) and Parker (as Miguel)

The format is perfect specifically for young children and short enough to keep their attention to finish the page. This is a good book for Christian parents who are looking for a book to read with their young child. The book is still good for an older child who is already an independent reader and desires to read a devotion on his own.

The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers is published by Tyndale House Publishers.
