Lonely Planet Kids The Travel Book Review

Gab loves to discover new places in the globe because of a world clock app in a smartphone. He knows places he has been to like Singapore and Seoul.  Then places like Cairo, Oslo, Reykjavik, Calgary, and Nuuk.

Lonely Planet Kids The Travel Book was perfect for Gab to explore more about these countries and he loves it. Now he beats me in naming those capital cities. I should be reading the book too.

Each page is for one country. Then each country is shown its flag, capital city, borders, population, land area and life expectancy rate. Then each page is full of photos and illutrations about the country. From food, interesting places, animals and trivias.

The book is short enough for easy reading for young kids. The information are also simple and easy to understand.

The countries are arranged by continents. It gives Gab a better understanding about geography than arranging them alphabetically. At the back of the book is a full world map and an index to all the countries.

  1. Hello. May I ask where you were able to buy this book? I have been looking for it for the longest time. Also, does it have a dedicated page about the Philippines. Thanks!
