For the past few months, we have been receiving inquiries on how much are homeschool provider fees. We have the same question when we are about to start homeschooling. We have to check the different providers, their fees and the services they are offering that will fit our family’s need – budget, learning styles, etc.

Here are the different homeschool provider fees and their different services. We have compiled all these information straight from the providers.*

Homeschool Global

Homeschool Global (HG)

Homeschool Global, formerly known as TMA Homeschool, is a Christian organization providing comprehensive homeschool services. It serves students in 21 different countries across the globe.

Enrollment Schedule:
HG has 3 cycles – March, June, and September

Levels Offered:
Pre-school to High School

Homeschool Fee:
Php 35,000/ family, Php 5,000/ additional kid

The fee is exclusive of books and learning materials.

Curriculum:
HG recommends several options for curriculum and books to use. In a way, it supports open curriculum as parents are also given the option to explore other materials that will be fit to the students.

Assessments:
HG offers diagnostic tests for incoming grades 1 to highschool. For HG students, they have quarterly portfolio reviews conducted by an Academic/Family adviser to check on the child’s performance.

Notes about Homeschool Global:
HG is known to have a great support sysem. They have core programs and services for both the parents and the kids.

The Learn Program is the academic program of Homeschool Global. Each family is assigned of an Academic Advisor (AA) or Family Advisor (FA), who will guide them through their school year. Reinforcing the service of an FA is an Academic Advisor who will ensure that their work is academically sound. Together, they assess the child’s performance, and train parents on how to be an effective parent-teacher.

The Connect Program helps get families to dynamically interact with one another, through small groups called Learn Groups consisting of families in similar locations or life stages. By connecting these families, homeschoolers can exchange ideas and best practices, encourage and support each other, and even allow friendships to be formed among the children.

The Shine Program consists primarily of events and activities that bring the bigger Homeschool Global community together, allowing the showcase of talents and skills, and the celebration of milestones of the families.

Peniel Integrated Christian Academy

Peniel Integrated Christian Academy

Peniel Christian Academy offers Homeschool program that supports an open curriculum. They are dedicated to providing parents and learners the guidance and support by providing trainings, monitoring, and advice on homeschooling concerns.

Enrollment Schedule:
Peniel follows the DepEd Academic school calendar – start the school year by the month of June. Enrollment for the new school year starts from December and ends by July.

Levels Offered:
Pre-school to Highschool (Grade 10)

Homeschool Fee:
Php 15,000+ / student

Expenses for books are not included as they don’t require parents to purchase learning materials from them.

Curriculum:
Peniel has open-curriculum but uses Deped’s K-12 curriculum as basis. They prescribe local textbooks with teacher’s guides aligned with Deped’s minimum competencies. The parents are allowed to enhance the curricula by using their own preferred materials.

Assessments:
Peniel’s program is completion. The students only need to submit a portfolio(compilation of selective work & actual output of the student) by March, which is the end of the School Year.

Notes about Peniel Integrated Christian Academy:

Peniel advocates open-curriculum to expand one’s learning experience and not limit them to the norm. The fees are affordable, and have people to orient, support, and answer queries.

Catholic Filipino Academy

Catholic Filipino Academy (CFA)

CFA is a Catholic Homeschool Provider in the Philippines. Founded by the best-selling author and nationwide-known inspirational preacher Bo Sanchez, the CFA aims to provide the highest quality education right at your home.

Enrollment Schedule:
Regular Academic Program follows the June to March school calendar.
Specialized Program is open year round.

Levels Offered:
Pre-school to (Junior and Senior) High School

Homeschool Fee:
Php 24,000+ per student

The fee (learning fee + misc fee) is exclusive of books and learning materials.

Curriculum:
CFA have recommended books but parents are free to choose books and materials of their choice as long as it follows the DepEd’s K to 12 Basic Learning Competencies.

For JHS and SHS, it is required to prurchase from CFA local textbooks published by different publishers in the country.

Assessments:

Preschool (Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Kindergarten): A year-end evaluation is given at the end of the school year. A portfolio review is done every quarter.
Grade School (Grades 1-6): Quizzes and Mastery Tests (Written Work) are provided by CFA and to be administered by the homeschooling parents every quarter. A Year-End Evaluation is also given at the end of every school year.
Junior High School (Grades 7-10): Written Works, Performance based assessments and Quarterly Exams as prescribed by DepEd.
Senior High School: Quizzes, exams, and performance tasks like videos, posters, essays, are required for each quarter. Students take the exams and quizzes online and submit online the written works or exercises found in textbooks and performance tasks designed by subject teachers.

Notes about Catholic Filipino Academy:

The CFA Team provides the needed support for parents as they homeschool their
kids. They have continuing formation program for parents both spiritual and academic through recollections, workshops, seminars and trainings. They also do monitoring of students’ performance and provide assistance by coaching either face to face or online.

Junior High School has a Wednesday class where students have Math and
Science classes, Science Club, various seminars (entrep, study skills, etc.), Personal Enrichment Program (PEP), Prayer Meetings, or small group meetings.

SHS has Tuesday classes for major and core subjects such as
Pre-calculus, General Math, Science, ICT, and English and twice a month (Thursday) classes for minor subjects such as Filipino, Social Science, and Oral
Communication. Other activities provided for SHS include Personal Enrichment
Program (PEP), seminars, and enrichment program for Math and Research subjects.

Being a Catholic homeschool provider, CFA also help prepare our homeschoolers to
receive their First Holy Communion or the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Gopala Simple Moments In Learning Experience

Gopala Simple Moments In Learning Experience 

Gopala is a family owned homeschool provider. They are a homeschooling family reaching out to fellow homeschoolers in all walks of life.

Enrollment Schedule:
Open year-round. They have a quota of (max) 50 families per year.

Levels Offered:
Pre-school to High School

Homeschool Fee:
Php 20,000+ per student

The fee is exclusive of books and learning materials.

Curriculum:
Gopala offers 2 programs – DepEd Aligned and Open Curriculum. Books, modules and other materials are chosen by parents to cover the lesson goals for the level.

Assessments:
Assessments are done upon enrollment and an evaluation at the end of the school year. Monthly projects are to be submitted by students.

Notes about Gopala Simple Moments in Learning:

Gopala advocates interest-led learning style of homeschooling. They guide parents on how to be more flexible while still taking the requirements of DepEd. Their services includes a more personalized approach, tailor-fit to the family. They offer a coaching and supervision sessions, for a minimal monthly fee, even if you are not enrolled with them as a provider.

School of Tomorrow

School of Tomorrow

Philipppine Christian School of Tomorrow Home Education Program is a Christian based way of learning.

Enrollment Schedule:
They offer year-round enrollment.

Levels Offered:
Pre-school to Highschool (Grade 10)

Homeschool Fee:
Php 21,500+ per student

The fee includes the family fee, student registration fee, academic fee and diagnostic test fee. The cost of learning materials can be determined after the diagnostic test.

Curriculum:
The homeschool program follows the School of Tomorrow® system. They use PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education). Each PACE is more or less equivalent to a unit in a textbook. Each level consists of 12 PACEs per subject. PACEs integrate character-building lessons into the academic content and is carefully designed to develop thinking skills and provide for mastery learning.

Assessments:
It is a requirement for parents to attend the orientation and training prior to enrollment. This training discussed the quizzes, exams and other information about the system.

Notes about School of Tomorrow:
School of Tomorrow is a primary and secondary academic program that combines the traditional one-room school with completely individualized, diagnostically prescribes high tech learning. SOT has offered professional expertise in curriculum, hardware, software and in-service training for global Biblical education reform.

  1. Hi. For SoT, there is a P15k/family and 2,500/student reg fee (one-time). Tuition is P3k/year. Materials are around P7k/yr depending on the materials chosen (local or imported). P21,500+ is only for the first year. Succeeding years will cost around P10k. 🙂

  3. Still can I enroll of any of that school? This month of November? I suddenly stop going to school because I was bullied at school. By the way, I’m a grade 10 student.

  4. Hi. We are currently abroad, can I start homeschool my children using Phil curriculum on this program? And how can I start them homeschool? They were enrolled here in California but have never attended classes because of this pandemic. please help me how to start them now until August… Their ages – 7, 13, 15.
