I grew up with the Abakada alphabet, so I find it hard to find words for the new letters added to the Filipino Alphabet like the letters F, Q, X and Z.  Thus, it was nice to learn new words that the author included in the Alpabetong Filipino like futan, fez, and Quran.

The illustrations were simple and clear. I like it when it is simple. Kids understands it right away.
There are 5 words per letter. That’s 140 Filipino words to learn! However, the illustrations would crowd page and the big uppercase letter in the middle is less visible.

Alpabetong Filipino costs only 79 PHP and is available in major bookstores nationwaide.

Alpabetong Filipino is recommended for children ages 3 and up.
